Betty Lou (Peters) Carl

Betty Lou (Peters) Carl, 83 of Muhlenberg Township, died July 23, 2017 in Columbia Cottage, Spring Township.

She was married January 7, 1956 to Kenneth Robert Carl.

Born in Lancaster, PA on May 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ira E. and Margarite  (Buckley) Peters.

Betty was a 1951 graduate of Manheim Township High School.

She worked as an operator with Bell Telephone for a number of years.

Betty is also survived by two sons, Keith R., husband of Pamela M. (Filippini) Carl, Bern Township and Mark D., husband of Janice A. (Smith) Carl, South Heidelberg Township.

Other survivors include 5 grandchildren: Michael, Andrew, Shannon, Ryan and Kris and 7 great grandchildren.

Betty was predeceased by two sisters: Jacqueline Cheney and Joyce H. Yellets.

Services will be private.  Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
