Carol Lynn Rainis

Carol Lynn Rainis, 63 of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 20 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center after a courageous battle with tongue cancer.  Born August 12, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, Carol was a daughter of the late Eleanor (Parker) and Thomas J. Rainis. 

A graduate of Pottsgrove High School, Carol loved the many jobs she held through the years, and the close friends she always made, from being a draftsman at the Limerick Power Plant, to positions at the McDonald’s and Wal-Mart in Morgantown.

Carol is survived by her twin sister Deborah, wife of David Lesher, Pikeville, her sister Connie Rainis, Norristown,  brothers Thomas, husband of Lois, Woodbury, NJ and Robert, husband of Melissa of Concord, MA, and her many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date and at the convenience of her family.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol’s name to the American Cancer Society at wwwcancer.org/donate.
