Charles Allen Brewer, 83, of Fleetwood, died March 24, 2017 in his residence.

Born in Maryland on August 23, 1933, he was a son of the late Samuel Dennis and Vincentia (Adams) Brewer.

Charles was a 1951 graduate of Emmitsburg High School, Maryland.  

He served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

Charles was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kutztown.

He was employed by Berks Products, Great Valley Materials and last employed by Quandel Concrete of Schuylkill County.

Charles enjoyed watching NASCAR. He had a special love of baseball and watching his grandsons play.

He is survived by his two daughters: Beverly Ann wife of Steven Angstadt of Fleetwood and Sheri Lynn wife of Jeffrey Fisher of Oley.  

Charles is also survived by his sisters: Katherine Ambrose of Gettysburg and Darlene wife of Warren McCleaf of Waynesboro, PA, and brothers: Vincent and his wife Arlene of Clermont, FL; Samuel and his wife Katherina of Fairfield, PA; and Robert and his wife Donna  of Gettysburg, PA.

Other survivors include his grandchildren: Kimberly Angstadt, companion of Chris Herbein of Bernville, PA; Jeffrey Angstadt and his companion Samantha Henninger of Schuylkill Haven; Matthew and Timothy Fisher, at home, and great grandchildren Owen and Weston Angstadt.

He was preceded in death by his former wife Bertha and his brother Clyde Brewer.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 30th from 10:00-11:00 am in the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. 

Committal service with full Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Thursday at 2 P.M.
