Doris Virginia (Haag) Hagenman

Doris Virginia Hagenman, 93, of Laureldale, died February 5, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the widow of Robert E. Hagenman who died October 21, 2006.

Born March 18, 1924 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Stella (Steeley) Haag.

Doris was employed with the Goggle Works, Reading; Yocum Cigar and Y&B Cigar Factories and Schoeffer and Bachman Bakeries, as a cake decorator.

She was a very active member of Epiphany Church, Temple and Calvary Lutheran Church.

In her younger years, Doris was an active collector for the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, March of Dimes and Camp Cadet, Troop L.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Doris made a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter: Linda Katzenmoyer of Laureldale; her sister, Elaine Fetter of Muhlenberg Township and her grandson, Kurt E. Katzenmoyer and his wife Yvonne of Alsace Township. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Sylvia Morris.

Services will be held Friday at 1 pm at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
