Jocelyn Lee (Prokopchak) Alequin

Jocelyn Lee Alequin, 49, passed away October 21, 2017 in her Reading residence.

She was the fiancée of Robert Scott Derr.

Born November 1, 1967, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Patricia A. (Sharp) Prokopchak.

Jocelyn was a graduate of Holy Name High School. She previously worked as a dental receptionist.

Jocelyn had several hobbies, she was an avid reader, enjoyed scrapbooking, fishing with Rob and spending time with her beloved cats.

Her passions were music and fashion. She also enjoyed attending LifeTree Café and MSC Sisters Fireside Chats.

Surviving are her three daughters: Breanne M. Alequin, Tricia Reisinger, and Madison R. Alequin.

Other survivors include her aunt, Mary Fangman of Leesport and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 3 at 8 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m.
