Judith Kay (Miller) Gerber, 64, of Wyomissing, died May 16, 2017 in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.  Born October 21, 1952 in Reading, she was daughter of the late Wayne Paul and Ruth Romaine (Luckenbill) Miller.  She was the wife of John D. Gerber of Shillington.

Judy was a 1970 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and a graduate of Albright College.

Judy worked at Nativity Lutheran Church as an administrative assistant for over a decade, where she was a well-known and beloved figure. She also worked at the circulation desk at the Penn State Berks library for many years.  She was intelligent, witty, and caring, with a powerful love for her family, friends, and pets.

Surviving are her three children: Patrick J. Gerber of Exeter Township, Kelly K. Gerber of Wyomissing, and Michael A. Gerber of Harrisburg.

Other survivors include her three siblings: Shirley Ann, widow of Col. James R. Brokenshire of Harrisburg; Joyce, widow of Richard Miller of Muhlenberg Township; and Jeffrey, husband of Marie Miller.  She is also survived by many cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at Nativity Lutheran Church, 1501 N. 13th Street, Reading, PA 19604 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.

A spaghetti dinner to benefit Judy's family will be held in the Church on Saturday, June 10th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
