Mary Sarah (Davies) Ocetnik

Mary Sarah (Davies) Ocetnik, 80, of Maidencreek Township, died March 14, 2018 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Joseph R. Ocetnik, Sr., who she married December 31, 1955.

Born in Scranton, PA on March 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Gething) Davies.

Mary was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Sinking Spring.

She enjoyed crocheting, arts & crafts and relaxing on the porch.

Mary is also survived by four children: Karen L., wife of Jack Philip of Blandon; Jolene M. Ocetnik of Denver; Laurie A., wife of David Trego of Reading and Joseph R. Ocetnik, Jr of Temple.

Other survivors include five grandchildren: Jennifer A. (Hock), wife of Jason Werner of New Ringgold; Andrew J. Ocetnik of Exeter Township; Zackary R. Trego of Douglassville; Adam T. Ocetnik of Exeter Township and Lynsey N. Trego of Reading.

There are also two great grandchildren: Cory T. Werner and Laney M. Werner, both of New Ringgold.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Marie Ocetnik, who died in 1959.

Mary was also predeceased by her seven siblings: Morgan Davies, Caleb Davies, Betty Waters, Harriet Smith, Bertha Dengler, Eddie Davies and William Davies.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
