Paul J. “Skip” Klinger, 68, of Reading, passed away peacefully at Berks Heim, Bern Township.
He was the husband of Rebecca Ann (Etzel) Klinger, to whom he was married October 24, 1970.
Born June 30, 1949 in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul Franklin and Helen (Baeur) Klinger.
Paul was a 1967 graduate of Reading High School.
He was employed in the handmills as a heater operator with Carpenter Technology for 30 years, retiring in 2002.
Paul served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township.
Also surviving are his two sons: Matthew P., husband of Karen M. Klinger of Reading and Jared S., husband of Melissa J. Klinger of Reading, and his two granddaughters, Madelyn K. Klinger and Norah J. Klinger.
Other survivors include his three siblings: Barry, husband of Ann Klinger of Southlake, TX; Bonnie, wife of James Benton of Charleston, SC and Lance, husband of Patricia Charnoff of Spring Township.
