Robert E. "Bobby" VanGoethem

Robert Edmund "Bobby" VanGoethem, 41, of Maidencreek Township, passed away March 1, 2018.

He was the husband of Katelyn Suzanne (Wright) VanGoethem.

Born August 20, 1976, in Reading, he was a son of Linda S. (Graeff), wife of Timothy Michael, of Muhlenberg

Township, and Donald J., husband of Marsha VanGoethem, of Muhlenberg Township.

Bobby was a graduate of Holy Name High School.

He was employed with Deka for 10 years.

A loving family man, Bobby was a wonderful father to his daughter, Ava Paige VanGoethem, (10 years old).

Also surviving are his five siblings: Jill, wife of Scott DeLong, of Fleetwood;, Kelly Michael, of Pottstown; Scott Michael, of Reading; Bradley VanGoethem, of Reading; and Shawn, husband of Nadine VanGoethem, of North Carolina.

Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Mary Graeff, of Shillington; and several nieces and nephews surviving.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
