Ronald Harry Hettrick

Ronald H. Hettrick, 82, of Muhlenberg Township, died April 15, 2018 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township.

He was the husband of the late Shirley Ann (Hill) Hettrick, who died March 5, 2005.

Born in Reading, PA on August 6, 1935, he was a son of the late William J. and Miriam H. (Roberts) Hettrick.

Ronald was a 1953 graduate of Reading High School.

He was the owner of Dutch Maid Bakery, Temple for 15 years, retiring in 1990.

Ronald was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

Ronald was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He is survived by three children: Linda Jo Hettrick of Cumru Township; Beth Ann, wife of Neal R. Wentzel of Bern Township and David R., husband of Susan M. (Pyle) Hettrick of Ruscombmanor Township.

Other survivors include four grandchildren: Greggory J. Wentzel, Max D. Hettrick, Mickey R. Hettrick and Laura A. Wentzel and one great grandson, Levi Cole Wentzel.

Services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and Friday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am all in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
