Victor Swavely Prutzman, 88, of Boyertown, died November 25, 2016 in Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County .
He was the husband of the late Marie Edna (Swavely) Prutzman who died January 7, 2013.
Born June 20, 1928 in Spangsville, he was a son of the late Victor Harold and Ethel (Swavely) Prutzman.
Victor was a 1946 graduate of Boyertown High School.
He was employed as an installer with Schaeffer Floor Covering, Bechtelsville for 41 ½ years.
Victor served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Colebrookdale Chapel.
Victor was in charge of the church kitchen for special function for 12 years.
He was on the wall of fame at Boyertown High School, where he played basketball, football, baseball and ran track.
Victor was also on the Pottstown Bowling Hall of Fame.
Surviving is his son, Darrall S., husband of Sandra L. (Baker-Nyman) of Stowe, Montgomery County.
Also surviving is his grandson, William Allen Prutzman; his four step grandchildren: Theresa Waltman, John Nyman, Walia Glacken and Michael Nyman and one great grandson, Kaine Allen Prutzman.
Victor was predeceased by his brother, Leon Prutzman who died November 14, 1990.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7 and Thursday morning, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown.
