Vivian Aileen (Davis) Jackowski

Vivian A. “Sis” Jackowski, 89, of Temple, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Jackowski Sr., who died February 20, 1985.

Born in Reading, PA on June 5, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Warren R. Davis and Gertrude R. (Orth) Davis-Klee.

Vivian was employed a number of years as a machine operator, last working for Hantex, Temple, before retiring in 1995.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading,

Most of all Vivian was a very loving Mother and Grandmother,

Her most loved activities were playing Scrabble, going for lunch with her friends and the playground ladies from when she was a child, going to the casino, and reading Danielle Steel books.

Vivian is survived by three children: Nancy A. (Jackowski), wife of James R. Brossman of Temple; Anthony J. Jr., husband of Margaret (Eshbach) Jackowski of Fleetwood and Richard A., husband of Beth Ann (Luckenbill) Jackowski of Mohrsville.

There are also 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley F. Kreis.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 13th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Laureldale.

A service will begin at 11:00 am in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
