Brooke Thomas Nagle, 86, of Wyomissing passed away peacefully at his residence on April 15, 2019.
He was the loving husband of Phyllis L. (Webber) Nagle, to whom he married on March 7, 1970.
Born in Laureldale on January 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Ralph Brooke Nagle and Lillie Mae (Schaeffer) Rice-Nagle.
Brooke was employed by M.J. Earl Paper Company as truck driver for 27 years, retiring in November 1994.
He was a Corporal in the 39th Field Artillery (Army) in the Korean War.
Brooke was an avid NASCAR and Elvis fan. He loved to read and do his word searches, and also loved doing woodwork. Every week, without fail, he needed his Italian sandwich.
His family meant the world to him.
Along with his wife, Brooke is survived by his two children: Robert B., husband of Hope E. Nagle of Laureldale, and his daughter, Melissa A., wife of Kevin T. Sheetz of Laureldale.
Brooke is also survived by his four grandsons: Jeffrey Krick, Timothy Nagle, Rory Nagle, and Joshua Sheetz; his granddaughter, Jessica Schnettler; his two step grandsons, Matthew and Christopher Blessing, and his12 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracy A. Krick, and by his brothers, Forest F. Rice, George L. Rice, and R. Dale Finkbone; and by his sisters Lyndall M. Heffner and Doris M. Westervelt.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Pottstown Cemetery in Pottstown.
