Dawn M. (Lengel) Hasenauer

Dawn Marion Hasenauer, 81, passed away May 11, 2018 in her Oley Township residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Keffer; by her second husband Paul F. Abraham, and by her third husband, Kenneth Hasenauer.

Born June 17, 1936 in Reading, she was the daughter of Floyd W. and Marion Z. (Wounderly) Lengel.

Dawn was employed for 10 years as a telecommunicator coordinator with Reading Rehab Hospital.

An artist, Dawn loved writing poetry.  She adored animals and did a lot of volunteer work over the years.   She also loved to cook.

Surviving are her three children: Cynthia L. (Keffer), wife of Joseph E. Gimont of Spring Township; William L., husband of Joanne C. Keffer of Oley Township; Paul F. “Skip,”husband of Tammy J. Abraham of Oley Township

Other survivors include her stepson, Terry P., husband of Carol Abraham; her stepdaughter, Denise Zielinski; and her two step grandchildren: Todd and Patrick Zielinski.

Also surviving is her sister, Eileen S. (Lengel) Moyer of Lewes, DE.

There are also seven grandchildren: Joseph Gimont, Steven Gimont, Jeffrey Keffer, William, husband of Jennifer Keffer, Jennifer, wife of David Ray, Christopher Klinesmith and Rebecca Keffer, and six great grandchildren.

Dawn was predeceased by her grandson, Benjamin Abraham; her sister, Dorothy K. (Lengel) Setley and her stepson, Robert A. Abraham.
