Judy Lynn Schick, 74, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away September 15, 2018 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia.
She was the widow of Kurt W. Schick, who died November 8, 1994.
Born December 7, 1943 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Clifford E. and Valeria M. (Jablonski) Redcay.
Judy was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School.
She was employed as a server for over 35 years, having worked at The Seafood House and Mom Chaffe’s.
Judy was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
She enjoyed traveling and going to see Broadway shows, and she loved dining out. Above all else, however, she loved time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two daughters: Monica D., wife of Thomas J. Battistelli of Amity Township and Krista A., wife of Jeffrey S. Mallon of Spring Township.
Other survivors include her five siblings: Susan Lincoln of Exeter Township, Nancy Houck of Amity Township, William Redcay of Slatington, Gerald Redcay of Exeter Township and Vivian Riegel of Birdsboro.
There are also three grandchildren: Corinne R. Battistelli, John D. Battistelli and Molly A. Mallon.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park.
A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
