Lawrence "Butch" Beckner

Butch Beckner, 58, died November 26, 2019 in his Temple residence.

Born in Winston Salem, NC, he was a son of Joye Mae (Wolfe) Beckner and the late Lawrence Joseph Beckner, Sr.

He was a 1979 graduate of West Forsyth High School and a Photoengraver by trade.

Butch was free spirited and had a kind soul. He was a hardworking man who touched many lives with his fun loving personality. His grandchildren were the light of life and his family meant the world to him. His love for music was contagious and he enjoyed the company of those willing to enjoy it with him. Butch’s memory will live on in song.

Surviving are his two sons: Brent A. husband of Ashley E. (DelCollo) Beckner of Jonestown and Kory B., husband of Felicia A. (Scheidt) Beckner of Kenhorst.

Also surviving are his four grandchildren: Brody, Brycen, Olivia and Lawson.

In addition, he is survived by his two sisters, Donna, wife of Pat Boyles of Winston Salem, NC and Angie, wife of Christopher Richard of Plymouth, MA.
Butch was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Beckner.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7th at 11 a.m. at Epler's United Church of Christ, 1151 W. Leesport Road, Bern Township.  A visitation with family will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the church.
