Marlene June Fisher, 75 of Alsace Township, passed away November 8, 2019 in the Reading Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of Karl Fisher, Jr., whom she married September 10, 1966.
Born in Reading, PA on February 4, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Margaret M. (Sweitzer) Hart.
She was a 1962 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
Marlene worked as a teacher’s aide at the Berks Career and Technology Center-East Campus for 33 years before retiring.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, going to the beach, going out with friends, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Daniel K., husband of Theresa O’Mara of Temple and Stefanie L., wife of William Viola of Marysville, Washington.
Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Noah D, Aaron J. Dean W. Fisher and Ava E. Viola.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Larry H. Hart, who passed away in 2019.
Services will be held Friday, November 15th at 11:30 AM in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10 am until time of service.
The burial will be Spies- Zion Cemetery.
