N. Scott Fore

N. Scott Fore, 64, was the husband of Janis (Young) Fore, to whom he married October 13, 1979.

Born in Norman, Oklahoma on July 16, 1954, he was a son of the late Bill M., and Martha E. (Scott) Fore.

He was an active member of GT Church, Spring Township and a faithful servant of Christ.

Scott’s life was spent serving the Lord, and over the years he taught Sunday school, led youth group, and led Bible studies.

He loved meeting new people, and blessed others with his kind and friendly personality, and his sense of humor.

Scott enjoyed a long career in food purchasing / commodity buying.

He loved working on projects at his home, visiting National Parks, taking in all of God’s creations and most importantly, loved spending time with his family.

Scott is also survived by his three daughters: Rachel A. (Fore), wife of James E. Midyette, III of Chardon, Ohio; Sara E. Fore of New Ringgold, Schuylkill County and Jenna C. (Fore), wife of Jeffrey Rosser of Jacobus, York County.

He was the proud grandfather of six.

Other survivors include his sister, Kathleen “Kathy” J. (Fore), widow of Charles D. Kendrick.

Services will be held Friday, June 14th at 7:00 pm in GT Church, 1110 Snyder Road, (Spring Township), Reading, PA 19609. A visitation will be held Friday, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm in the Church.

Burial will be in Bern Cemetery, Bern Township.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Rescue Mission, 645 North 6th Street, Reading, PA 19601.
