Pamela L. (Rightmyer) Weiandt, age 76, passed away on July 6, 2018 at Reading Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She had many hobbies – cooking, baking, crocheting, coloring, painting, and playing card games (to name just a few); however, her favorite pastime was spending time with her large family at monthly get-togethers and holidays.
Pam is predeceased by her daughter, Kay (Weiandt) Stufflet, wife of Lonnie Stufflet, and her sister, Tish Musser. She is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, Raymond (Wink) Weiandt, Jr., her children Raymond Weiandt, Sr., husband of Lori Shomper, Steven Weiandt, husband of Jayne Weiandt, Brenda (Weiandt) Skinner, wife of John Skinner, and Tammi Weiandt, wife of ChrisLynn Setley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Ray, Jason, Scott, Steve, Seth, Lonnie, Jennifer, Sabrina, Josh, Tiffany, and Lacey (as well as their significant others, whom she also considered her grandchildren), four great grandchildren, and countless friends.
Pam lived life to the fullest, so it is no wonder that she chose to have a celebration of her life, instead of a funeral. Her family plans to honor that wish in a few months. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Rescue League, in Pam’s memory. A GoFundMe campaign has also been started, to help defray medical expenses. Stitzel Family Funeral Homes, Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at stitzelfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
