Pauline Mary (Shenk) McNeill

Pauline Mary McNeill, 91, formerly of Temple died May 17, 2018 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Lester Edward McNeill, with whom she shared 74 years of marriage.

Born November 23, 1927 in Berkshire Heights, she was a daughter of the late Jacob D. and Bertha K. (Guinther) Shenk.

Pauline was employed as a seamstress with Berkshire Knitting Mill for a number of years, retiring in 1993.  Subsequently, she was employed as a cashier with Boscov’s Department Store for 15 years.

Surviving is her son, Barry L., husband of Diane (Matz) McNeill of Laureldale; his two grandsons: Christopher J., McNeill and his significant other, Barb Rahn; and Jodi (McNeill), wife of Joseph Miller and his six great grandchildren: Jeffrey McNeill, Courtney, wife of Christopher Capps, Michael Miller, Madison Miller, Ava Miller and Emily Miller.

Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  A viewing will be held from 10-11.  Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
