S. Michael Nagle

S. Michael Nagle, 79, passed away on Sunday February 11, 2018 in the Reading Hospital surrounded by family. 

He was married for 52 years to Barbara Ann (Steinle) Nagle and they resided in Flying Hills for over 40 of those years. 

Mike was born September 11, 1938 to the late S. Herbert Nagle and Bertha Mae (Weaver) Nagle.

He spent the majority of his career in transportation and distribution management at General Battery Corporation and ultimately retired from Bachman Company.  He was also very proud to be a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mike loved his family as much as they adored him.  He was known as a loving husband and father, a faithful friend, a respected cook, and a big fan of a good laugh as well as a good nap.

He will forever be missed by his wife, Barbara, daughters Doria (Michael) Sornberger and Jessica (Christopher) Gallen, 5 grandchildren: Abriel, Carley, Owen, Will, and Rylie.  Also his aunt, Nancy Nagle, brother Stephen Nagle, and several nephews and nieces remain.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 17th at 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
