Sheila Kindle-Jones Obituary

Sheila Eileen Kindle-Jones, 74, of Wyomissing, passed away August 16, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

She was the wife of David E. Jones, who she married October 9, 1997.

Born April 8, 1944 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Dorothy (Martin) Kindle.

Sheila was a 1962 graduate of Reading High School, and a graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

She was employed as a registered nurse for 34 years, retiring in 2012.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two sons: James Heckman, Jr. of Exeter Township and Randy M., husband of Michelle M. (Intelisano) Heckman of Spring Township.

Other survivors include her brother, Albert “Allen” Ash of Reading, and her sister, Christine Kindle of Muhlenberg Township.

There are also four grandchildren: Stephanie, Matthew, Brody and Alex, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Also, a part of her family, were David's children: David Jones, Jr., Douglass Jones, Patrick Jones and Jennifer Jones; and his six grandchildren.

Sheila was predeceased by her brother, William Martin.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
