William Lewis Clouse, Jr., 66, of Muhlenberg Township, died January 16, 2019 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph.
He was the husband of Lynn Marie (Stoudt) Clouse, to whom he was married March 26, 1985.
Born August 8, 1952 in Reading, he was a son of the late William Lewis Clouse, Sr. and Alva Mae (Jones) Clouse.
William was employed as a truck driver for over 30 years. He was first employed with Lentz Milling for over 10 years, then Deka for 5 years, and he retired from Landis Trucking after 15 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
William was a passionate Oakland Raiders fan and a gamer.
He was a member of Mohnton Fish and Game Protective Association and the National Rifle Association.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children: Michael H., husband of Melissa A. May of Denver, Lancaster County; Stephen L. May, Jr. of West Chester and Clint R. , husband of Tina M. May of Cumru Township.
Other survivors include his three siblings: Donald Showers of Hamburg, Elaine Noll of Temple and Sheila Miller of Muhlenberg Township.
There are also seven grandchildren: Zachary, Brittni, Alex, Reiley, Owen, Alli, and Julia May and two great grandchildren, Liam and Taylor May.
William was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Ludwig, and by his brother, Kerry Clouse.
