A. Lee Hagginbothom, 84, of Muhlenberg Township, died March 17, 2021 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.

He was married December 7, 1957 to Mary Elizabeth (Feinour) Hagginbothom, who died June 30, 2014.

Born in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County on June 30, 1936, he was a son of the late Ray A., and Emma D. (Finkbiner)  Hagginbothom.

Lee was a 1953 graduate of Reading High School and a 1957 graduate of Albright College.

He was employed with Carpenter Technology, Reading, starting in the finance department in 1957, before retiring as a manager in human resources in 1994.

In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren and springer spaniels, playing tennis, listening to talk radio, watching sports on the television and eating sauteed crab meals and chocolate desserts.

Lee is survived by four children: David A. Hagginbothom of Williamsburg, VA; Michael T., husband of Beth (Arters) Hagginbothom of Birdsboro; Linda Ann, wife of James Kelly of Muhlenberg; and Robert A. Hagginbothom of Fleetwood.

In addition to his wife Mary, he was predeceased by an infant son, Richard Lee Hagginbothom in 1968, and five springer spaniels.

Other survivors include seven grandchildren: Beth, wife of Alex Cloud; Shannon Hagginbothom; Alexa Hagginbothom; Rachael Hagginbothom; Nikkole Hagginbothom; Andrew Hagginbothom; and Rebecca Hagginbothom, and two great grandchildren: John A. Cloud and Clara M. Cloud.

Lee was able to live out his last years at home, despite unprecedented challenges during his final months thanks to the patience, generosity, and tireless support of Linda, Robert, Michael, and their respective families.
