Albert Ellsworth Beadle, Jr.

Albert Ellsworth Beadle, Jr, 93 of Reading, passed away December 11, 2023, in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Patricia J. Beadle, who passed away in 2009.

Born October 19, 1930, in Reading, he was the son of the late Albert Ellsworth and Beatrice (Lewars) Beadle, Sr.

Albert was a 1948 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

He was employed by Armour Food Company in Sales.

Albert proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 31 years. He served in Korea from 1950-1951. He was a purple heart recipient and was a very active member of the Marine Corps League, R.M. Butterweck Detachment.

Albert was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters: Judy Lynn, wife of Jack Seidel of Womelsdorf and Lori L. Kreider of Reading. Grandchildren: Nicholas Seidel husband of Kristin, Ryan Seidel husband of Erin and Catherine Kreider fiancee of Chris.
Great Grandchildren: Olivia, Alexandra and Julianna.

Albert was preceded in death by his daughter Katherine and brothers: Robert and Earl.

A Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1pm at the Stitzel Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 12-1 pm at the funeral home.

 
The burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
