Alfrieda A. Liszcz

Alfrieda Antoinette Liszcz, 91, formerly of Reading and Muhlenberg Township, died April 17, 2026 at Willowbrook Nursing, Kutztown.

Born August 16, 1934, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Mary (Chol) Liszcz.

Allfrieda was a graduate of Reading High School, and was employed as a secretary with Penn Optical, where she retired from in 1995.

One of 15 children, Alfrieda was preceded in death by all of her siblings: John Liszcz, Stanley J. Liszcz, Maximillian Liszcz, Eddie Liszcz, Sr., Joseph Liszcz, Joseph Liszcz, Francis L. Liszcz, Sr., Walter Liszcz, Jean (Liszcz) Prislak, Helen (Liszcz) Milos, Mary (Liszcz) Stech, Ann (Liszcz) Karetas, Antoinette (Liszcz) Shunk, and Florence (Liszcz) Baues.

A graveside service will be held Monday, May 4th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kenhorst.
