Alice Zena (Reinert) Houck, 91, formerly of Blandon, died February 1, 2026, at The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township.
She was the loving wife of Sylvester C. Houck, with whom she shared almost 75 years of marriage.
Born February 24, 1934, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Henry I. Reinert and E. Maude (Conrad) Reinert.
Alice was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lobachsville, where she enjoyed spending time with friends at church events.
Alice enjoyed many hours doing puzzles and making doilies that she sold, for many years as fundraisers for Multiple Sclerosis. She also gave her doilies away as gifts.
She loved to bake, especially AP cakes, pies and cookies around Christmas time for her family. She donated many of her baked goods for church fundraisers.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her five children: Robert C. Houck, husband of Joyce of Lobachsville; Roxann C. (Houck) Frain of Exeter Township; Rita C. (Houck), wife of Martin Rhoads of Boyertown; Ronald C. Houck and companion Lisa Dengler of Fleetwood and Randolph C. Houck and fiancée, Zenia Leibelsperger of Hamburg.
She was a loving mother and the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers: William Reinert of Gilbertsville and LeRoy Reinert of Exeter Township.
Alice was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Houck in October of 1990; a grandson, Bradley Houck in March of 1998; and ten brothers and sisters.
Services will be held Monday, February 9th at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lobachsville Cemetery.
