Anna G. Fisher, 93, of Temple, and formerly of Oley, died August 16, 2022 at Rittenhouse at Muhlenberg. She was the widow of Marvin J. Fisher who passed away November 14, 2004.
Born September 8, 1928, in Stowe, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late George D. and Sadie M. (Ruffner) Strouse.
Anna was employed as a utility operator with Western Electric for 25 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale, where she served as chairlady of the flower committee.
Surviving is her son, Gary, husband of Bonnie (James) Fisher of Temple; a grandson, Jeffrey, husband of Jennifer Fisher; two step-grandchildren, Leiko Feltenberger and Stacy, wife of Jason Gerner; and three great grandchildren, Catrina, Aidan and Vance.
Also surviving is her sister, Dorothy Mast of Reiffton.
Anna was preceded in death by a son, Marvin J. Fisher, Jr. in 2021, two granddaughters, Wendy Sue Fisher and Connie L. Fisher; and by five siblings: Alberta Fisher, Conrad Stettenbaure, Earl Strause, Gladis Shoop and Emma Will.
Services will be Monday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow services at Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
