Anna Lucille Welder, 95, formerly of Temple, died July 29, 2022 at Keystone Villa, Douglassville.
She was the widow of Warren Brown Welder, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Born May 6, 1927, in Richland, PA, she was a daughter of the late Brady L. and Flossie H. (Boltz) Allen.
Anna was a graduate of Shillington High School.
She held various jobs over the years and was especially fond of her time at Betty’s Salads and working as a lunch lady at Sarig Elementary School.
Anna was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as well as the Republican Women’s Club.
She served as a volunteer at Community General Hospital and local polling centers.
She loved cardinals and her favorite color was red. She especially enjoyed and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A social butterfly that made everyone she met feel loved, she will be missed by all.
Surviving is her daughter, Marjorie D., wife of Larry E. Bare of Robeson Township.
Also surviving are her three grandchildren: Jamie L., wife of Cody Yarger; Melanie S., wife of Robert Fauvelle; and Jeffrey S. Bare; and her five great grandchildren: Troy, Mackenzie, Damien, Emma, and Roman.
Anna was preceded in death by her five siblings: Byron, Kathleen, Clair, Dean, and Marjorie.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
