Annemarie Christine (Roesslein) Meyer, 86, of Oley, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at Tower Health – Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.
She was the devoted and loving wife of Ernest Alfred Meyer, Jr., with whom she shared 68 years of marriage—a partnership built on deep love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
Born February 18, 1940, in Jamaica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Roesch) Roesslein.
Annemarie was a 1957 graduate of Pleasantville High School, Pleasantville, NY, and went on to attend Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City. She spent 27 years working as an administrative assistant with several companies, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit, retiring in 2007.
Annemarie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading, art, and music, took pride in caring for her flowers, and cherished her travels over the years. No matter the distance, she maintained many lifelong friendships, staying connected to those she cared about.
Above all, Annemarie was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found her greatest joy in her family, taking immense pride in each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She treasured every moment spent together and made a point to stay closely connected to their lives. Whether through phone calls, family gatherings, or simple everyday moments, she made those around her feel deeply loved and cared for.
Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Annemarie was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawthorne, NY. She later became a faithful member of Friedens Lutheran Church in Oley, PA. Annemarie’s life reflected her strong faith and commitment to her community.
In addition to her beloved husband, Al, she is survived by her three daughters: Karen Cerrone and her husband, John, of Danbury, CT; Nancy Meyer and her partner, Craig Russell, of Grand Bahama; and Ellen Martignetti and her husband, John, of Boyertown, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Frederick J. Roesslein and his wife, Carol, of Cold Spring, NY; her seven grandchildren: Danielle Welchman and her husband, Kenny; Devin Perlman; John Cerrone Jr. and his fiancée, Sydney Dennis; Justin Perlman; Daniel Martignetti and his partner, Alivia Patton; Bryan Martignetti; and Audrey Martignetti; and her great-grandson, Bentley Martignetti. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Kurtis Martignetti.
Her love and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
