Anthony Geddio, Sr. Obituary

Anthony “Nino” Donald Geddio, Sr., 86, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Bern Township. He was the loving husband of Adele Amelia (Nowotarski) Geddio, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

Born on January 6, 1935 in Reading, he was the son of Salvatore and Rosalia (Cappadona) Geddio. Nino proudly served his country by joining the United States Army in 1957. After being honorably discharged in 1959, he worked for Parish Dana Corporation until his retirement in 1993. 

Nino was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and skeet shooting. 

In addition to his wife, Nino is survived by his children: Donald Lee, Sr., husband of Kelly J. (Nachurski) Geddio, of Muhlenberg Township; Sandra Ann (Geddio) Nachurski, of Spring Township; David Alan, husband of Melissa J. (Buckley) Geddio, of Bern Township; and Anthony Donald, husband of Jennifer L. (Auge) Geddio, of Muhlenberg Township. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Donald, Jr., husband of Rebecca (Charuk) Geddio; Ricky Nachurski, Jr.; Christopher, husband of Shelby (Gravinese) Geddio; Nicholas Nachurski, partner of Megan Sides; Dominic Geddio, fiancé of Brianna Quigg; Dustin Geddio; Tyler Geddio; Jaxon Geddio; and Josie Geddio. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren.

Nino was predeceased by his siblings: Joseph Geddio; Virginia (Geddio) Cox; Samuel Geddio; Catherine T. (Geddio) Hydock; and Rosie M. (Geddio) High.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
