Anthony Lupo

Anthony Lupo, 92, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away May 15, 2020 at Rittenhouse Village at Muhlenberg.

He was the widower of Irene Lupo, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.  She passed away June 18, 2009.

Born, August 9, 1927, in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry and Jennie (Longone) Lupo.

Anthony was employed as a machinist with Textile/Rockwell for 46 years, retiring in 1979.

He proudly served our country, in the Army, during World War II.

Surviving are his two daughters: Lisa, wife of Rick Greenly of Fleetwood, and Linda, wife of Chuck Rightmyer of Birdsboro.

There are also two grandchildren, Amanda, wife of Christopher Laird and Chad, husband of Amanda (Harsel) Rightmyer; and two great grandchildren, Amelia Laird and Dylan Rightmyer.

He is also survived by his sister, Jean Armao.

Anthony was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Eisenbrey and Angela Lupo.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Rittenhouse and Grane Hospice for taking such good care of Anthony during this difficult time.
