Obituary
Arthur “Art” Ronald Miller, 88 of Bernville, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, May 16,
2023 under the care of Promedica Hospice and surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Martha (Smith) Miller. He was one of
11 children and the last surviving sibling.
Art was the loving husband of Sharonne E. (Rusk), Miller with whom he celebrated 28 years of
marriage.
He attended Reading High School and was a Veteran of the US Navy, proudly serving on the
USS Ashland. A machinist by trade, Art was employed by Reading Automatic Machinery for 40 years.
Art was active in the men’s league at Green Acres Golf Club and a member of
the Brandywine Hunt Club located in Slate Run, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his wife, Art is survived by his sons Michael (Sharon) Miller, Keith (Lori) Miller,
Darren (Connie) Miller and his stepchildren Heidi (Jeff McKnabb) Geisewite, Cheryl (Jeff)
Sweigart and Paul (Meg) Geisewite III. He is also survived by his grandchildren Seth (Charlotte)
Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, Briana (Andrew) Miller-Davies, Austin Miller and his step grandchildren
Nicholas and Andrew Sweigart, Ashley and Grant Geisewite.
All of his family and friends will be forever grateful for his wisdom, humor, kindness and love.
