Obituary
Beatrice Elizabeth Yoder, 89 of Reading, passed away August 2, 2022 in Promedica Laureldale.
She was the wife of the late James Milton Yoder, who passed away in 2000.
Born July 5, 1933 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Levi Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Boyer) Lape.
Beatrice was a 1952 graduate of Wernersville High School. She was last employed by Hershey Food Products.
She is survived by her daughter: Deborah Elizabeth, widow of Gary Carl Geisinger of Kutztown and two grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn, wife of Jason Miller of Hamburg and Elizabeth Leigh, wife of Tyler Lance of Wyomissing. She was also expecting a great grandchild at the end of August.
Also surviving is Catherine Merkel of Wernersville, who was like a sister to her.
She was preceded in death by her companion of five years Arthur Levan.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 10th at 11 am at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606.
