Betty Dotter (Dotter) Hoch

Betty Dotter Hoch, 92, formerly of Spangsville Road, Oley, died March 9, 2023 in her residence at Keystone Villa, Amity Township. 

She was the wife of Elwood Mathias Hoch, whom she married March 20, 1948. 

Born June 15, 1930 in her Colebrookdale Township residence, she was a daughter of the late Francis S. Rush and Lizzie Dotter. 

She enjoyed listening to live music, sewing, quilting, taking family to carnivals and fairs, and Sunday visits with family and friends. 

Betty is survived by five children: Barry L., husband of Barbara (Fritzgerald) Hoch of Earl Township; Mark G., husband of Bernice (Koch) Hoch of Oley Township; Ricky E., husband of Theresa (Rose) Hoch of Pike Township; Randall A., husband of Lori (Einsig) Hoch of Oley Township; and Betty Jean (Hoch), wife of Scott Wagner of Oley Township. 

She was the proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  

Betty was predeceased by her siblings: Robert D. Rush and Hazel D. Rush.

Services were held Saturday, March 18th in Stitzel Funeral Homes, Oley.

Burial was in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville.
