Blanche Hepner

Blanche Rae Hepner, 59, of Ruscombmanor Township, died April 17, 2021 at Tower Heath - Reading Hospital, West Reading.

She was the loving wife of George John Hepner, with whom she would’ve celebrated 35 years of marriage on July 26th.

Born, July 24, 1961, in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lloyd Wampole, Sr. and Blanche Rae (Foraker) Wampole.

Blanche was a 1979 graduate of Northeast Bradford Junior Senior High School.

She was employed in production with East Penn Manufacturing for 23 years.

Blanche was an avid volunteer for the United Way through East Penn Manufacturing.

She enjoyed camping, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Blanche will be sadly missed by her fur babies, Diesel and Mya.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two children: Rachael R., wife of Gery Toman of Macungie; and Jason J. Hepner of Ruscombmanor Township.

There is also one grandson, Gavin Toman.

Other survivors include her two brothers: Walter Wampole of Bradford County and Joseph Wampole of laureldale.  

Blanche was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Wampole, and by her sister, Susan Wampole.

Also surviving, was her nephew, Tucker Tipsword, and her niece, Cheyanne Wampole.

Services will be held Thursday, April 22nd, at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  

Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m.

Burial will follow the service at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
