Brendon Field Obituary

Brendon R. Field, at age 51, passed away on January 18, 2025, at his home in Oley, PA.  Brendon was born on May 24, 1973, to Kenneth and Lynn (Adams) Field and called Oley his home for his whole life.  Brendon’s father preceded him in death, and he is survived by his mother Lynn, wife Celine DeBruyne, and daughters, Claudia and Samantha.  He graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1991 where he played soccer, volleyball, and basketball.  Brendon went on to further his education at Widener University.  While at Widener, he continued to play soccer and volleyball and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.  He graduated from Widener in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management/Finance.

Brendon most recently served as Assistant Vice President at J.S. Held LLC, where his hard work, dedication, and expertise left a lasting impression on both colleagues and clients. Known for his willingness to take on tough assignments and always being there when needed, Brendon balanced a full workload with grace and determination, driven by his love for his family. Respected and admired by all who knew him, he built lasting relationships through his professionalism and genuine nature. Prior to his role at J.S. Held, Brendon worked alongside his father at MBR Construction, proudly serving as President for over a dozen years, leaving a legacy of excellence and commitment.

Brendon was a loving husband and father who recently celebrated 25 years of marriage with his wife, Celine. More than anything, he treasured spending time with family and friends, from traveling the world with his wife and kids to enjoying impromptu gatherings on the patio at home. His friends nicknamed him "The Dude" for his laid-back personality and sense of humor, while his big hair in his younger years earned him the name "Bushead." These names reflected the fun and lighthearted bond he shared with the people in his life.

Brendon was a man of many passions and talents. He was a lifelong Star Wars enthusiast, a devoted fan of the Grateful Dead, and a lover of all things technology. Whether fixing, building, or wiring anything that needed attention, his hands were always busy, and he had an uncanny ability to make things work. He found joy in spending time outdoors, often spending his free time relaxing outside, swimming, skiing, or enjoying friendly matches of cornhole and volleyball. Brendon was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, particularly devoted to the Eagles. He loved bringing people together, often inviting friends, family, and colleagues to Eagles games and tailgates in a custom Eagles-themed RV he co-owned with a lifelong friend.

Brendon’s quick wit, warm smile, and uplifting presence could brighten even the toughest days. Humble and unassuming, he found true happiness in the love of his family and the simple moments that life offered. Grateful for all he had, Brendon lived with a rare blend of kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength. His character and outlook inspired those around him, demonstrating the beauty of a life rooted in love, joy, peace, and dedication.

He leaves his family and friends with a lifetime of memories of a wonderful man who had a smile for everyone, a helping hand when needed, and a love of life that was cut short too soon. Raise a final glass in his honor.

A celebration of life in honor of Brendon will be held at a later date in the summer of 2025. Details regarding the time and location will be shared soon.
