Brian J. Boyer

Brian Jeffrey Boyer, 55, of Catawissa, passed away on July 28, 2025.

He was the son of Kermit A. Boyer, husband of Susan L. (Brendle) Boyer of Alsace Township, and the late Cynthia E. (O’Boyle) Boyer, who passed away in 1979.

Brian was a 1988 graduate of Oley Valley High School and worked in the construction industry for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a long-standing member of the Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association.

In addition to his father, Brian is survived by his siblings: Troy A. Boyer, husband of Lora L. (Becker) of Alsace Township; Michelle L. Boyer of Wayne Township; W. Eric Haines, husband of Kelly (Marlin) of Oley Township; and Lisa M. (Haines) Bortz, wife of Ryan of Alsace Township.

He is also survived by his beloved niece, Cynthia E. Boyer; his maternal grandmother, Shirley O’Boyle of Fleetwood; his maternal aunt, Sheryl Stamm, wife of Wilson, also of Fleetwood, nephews Ian and Gavin Bortz and Spencer and Benjamin Haines, and an aunt and multiple uncles on his paternal side.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Spies-Zion Cemetery, 318 Spies Church Road, Alsace Township.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 12 - 4 pm at the Oley Fairgrounds Banquet Hall.
