Carmen Lorenza Vega-Torres

Carmen Lorenza Vega-Torres, 82, of Laureldale, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

She was the widow  of Carlos M. Rodriguez. 

Born April 29, 1942, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ramon Vega. 

During her early years she enjoyed having a cold beer and relaxing. She also loved going on walks and eating delicious food. 

Surviving are two children, Carmen Rodriguez, wife of Jose Vazquez of Laureldale, and Iris Rodriguez of Reading. 

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Carlos Rodriguez, Omayra Lefranc, Xiomara Vazquez, Janilee Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, twelve great grandchildren Chasity, Javier, Carlito, Brinely, Yadiel, Juell, Jonoell, Tiana, Alex, Jebniel, Jarrina, Kariel and 2 great great grandchildren Laylay and Josiah. 

Carmen was predeceased by one child, Elizabeth Rodriguez, three siblings: Gloria; Ramona; and Aidaluz and a grandchild Alex Rodriguez 

A viewing will be held Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Laureldale, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
