Carol Lee Sutphin, 87 of Exeter Township, passed away February 23, 2024 at the Mifflin Center.
She was the companion of Kenneth Hoppes for 35 years.
She was born on November 13, 1936 in Detroit Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Alberta (Bunny) Confer.
She obtained a bachelor's degree in music therapy from Michigan State University.
Carol was the assistant program director for Kids Peace, Reading.
She was phenomenal in dog agility training and had a huge love for dogs. She also loved to garden.
She is survived by her companion Kenneth Hoppes of Exeter Township,
her daughter; Nancy Sarah, wife of Chris Perron of Florence South Carolina; her grandson Matt Perron, Stepson Randy Sutphin;
step daughter; Dierdre Reinert of Fleetwood and step grandchildren: Zachary and Abigail Reinert of Fleetwood.
She also is survived by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Ross and Don Confer.
