Charles Lee Griesemer, 87, of Oley, passed away August 26, 2025 at his Oley residence.
He was the loving husband of Sandra Kay (Watt) Griesemer.
Born May 1, 1938, in Oley, PA, he was a son of the late Karl S. and Alice H. (Rohrbach) Moyer Griesemer.
Lee was a 1957 graduate of Oley Valley High School.
He was employed as a carpenter with KutzBuilders, Pricetown; Planing Mill, Boyertown; Burkey Construction, Reading; and EA Reider, Wyomissing, where he retired in 2004. One of his favorite hobbies was woodworking and he was also a John Deere Tractor enthusiast. Lee also took joy in country line dancing and listening to country music.
Lee was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force National Guard.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his four children: Jeffrey Alan Griesemer, husband of Debbie (Koch) of Fleetwood; Victoria R. (Gehringer), wife of Philip Bowman of Exeter Township; Vanessa L. Gehringer, fiancée of Matthew Heifer of Robesonia; and Aaron M. Gehringer, husband of Tasha (DeVough) of Laureldale.
Also surviving are his three grandchildren: Megan N. (Bowman), wife of Jeremiah Reichert; Allison J. (Bowman), wife of Caleb Rose; and Brock Griesemer; six great granddaughters: Charlotte S. Rose, Sadie J. Reichert, Savanna R. Rose, Willa P. Rose, Lydia L. Reichert, and Annie K. Reichert.
In addition, he is survived by his brother, Larry R. Griesemer of Cumru Township.
Lee was preceded in death by his sister, Carol A. (Griesemer) Dierolf in 2018.
A service will be held Wednesday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. Viewings will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oley Cemetery, Spangsville.
