Cheryl Sherry Freeman

Cheryl (Sherry) Freeman. 79 of Reading, passed away September 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Gene Freeman and they were married for 60 years. 

Born July 17, 1945 in Reading, Pa she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Showers) Livinghouse.

She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was employed by Ludens.

Sherry loved her cats and truly enjoyed her life. Most important was her love for her family.  She was their rock she would do anything for them. Her greatest joy was spoiling Sophia.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son: William "Bill" Freeman and his companion Tonya Horn of Reading.

Grandchildren: Alexis Freeman and Warren Schaeffer, great granddaughter: Sophia Crammer.

In addition are her  siblings: Ken Livinghouse and wife Judy of Shillington; Jeffrey Livinghouse of Pottsville and Kevin Moser and companion Elizabeth of California.

She was preceded in death by her son: Michael Freeman her sister Karen Smith and her nephews,  Scott and Todd Livinghouse. 

A viewing will be held Tuesday September 10 from 1-3pm at the Stitzel Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale PA. A funeral service will begin at 3pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. 

Sherry will be missed, truly missed.
