Cheryl Lynn Palmer, 70, of Richland, passed away on May 22, 2023 at Garden of Stevens, Lancaster County.
She was the widow of Mark Palmer.
Born April 3, 1953, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Paul Bleiler, Jr. and Carol E. (Shade) Bleiler.
She was employed as a bus driver with Barta Transportation for 33 years.
God was the center of her life. She was an animal lover, passionate about horses. She also enjoyed antiquing, attending rodeos when she was younger and talking politics. She was quite the foodie and loved finding new recipes to try. Her passengers and Barta coworkers meant the world to her, along with a handful of best friends. Family, however, was her greatest joy; she loved getting everyone together.”
Surviving are her four children: Jason Hill of Mairenville, PA; Kristen (Hill) Gilmore, widow of Patrick Gilmore of Akron, PA; Elgin Evans of Washington, DC; and Jamie (Ash) Shane of Ephrata.
Other survivors include her grandchildren: Michael, Alyssa, Devin, Jordan, Jaden, Connor, Kaylin, Gavin, and Haden.
In addition, she is survived by four siblings: Michael Bleiler of Reading, Joseph Bleiler of Reading, Paula Bleiler of Florida and Greg Troutman of Jersey Village, TX.
Cheryl was preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Hill.
