Cheryl Reppert, 70, of Mertztown, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Clifton Center Building, surrounded by her family.
She was the loving wife of David Reppert who she married November 8, 1975.
Born December 24, 1955 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Manwiller and Bernice (Tiley) Manwiller.
Cheryl was a 1973 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. After graduating she had numerous jobs but most of her working career was spent as a 911 dispatcher and with emergency services.
In Cheryl’s free time people could find her at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was an active member and was their treasurer, past president, deacon, and the director of their bell choir. When she wasn’t at church, Cheryl would be enjoying a relaxing camping trip or on a cruise with her husband. She played a vital role in her children’s early years, acting as one of the band parents for the Brandywine Heights HS band and going on ski trips with the family. Collecting Longaberger baskets was a hobby of hers but what brought her true joy was being surrounded by her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Chelsea (Reppert) Mondrick, wife of Ian of Coplay, PA, and Alison Reppert Gerber, wife of Stephanie of Damascus, MD.
Also surviving are two siblings, Cynthia (Manwiller) Bonsall, and Craig Manwiller of Hamburg.
Cheryl leaves behind three grandchildren: Liam Mondrick; Bernadette Reppert Gerber; and Miles Mondrick.
She was predeceased by two siblings, Claudia Fitzgerald and Colin Manwiller.
A service will be held Friday, March 20th, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown. A viewing will be held the night prior, Thursday, March 19th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the same location. Burial will follow the service on March 20th at Longswamp UCC Cemetery in Mertztown.
