Cynthia Boyer Obituary

Cynthia Louise Boyer, 62 of Alsace Township, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Edward Daniel Boyer, who passed away in 2016.

Born October 23, 1960 in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ellen L (Reeser) Brumbach and Maurice H Brumbach of Reading.

Cindy was a graduate of Exeter Senior High School.  Following High School, she worked as a bank teller where she met her husband.  Cindy also worked at Boscov's and as a Teacher's Aide at both Schwarzwald UCC Preschool and Berks County Intermediate Unit.  She was very passionate about her jobs in education and the children she worked with along the way.

Cindy enjoyed reading, cross stitching, baking, decorating her home and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a very dedicated daughter, mother and grandmother who could always be found with her family.  She was a member of Schwarzwald UCC in Jacksonwald.

Surviving in addition to her father are her two daughters: Kylene Jones of Reading and Kaitlyn Boyer of Philadelphia. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Evianna Jones, Trevyn Jones and Giulio Pucciarmati.

Cindy had been fighting a brave battle against lung cancer for the past 6+ years. Her success was attributed to her doctors and the treatments she received at Penn Medicine and Jefferson Hospital.
