Daisy Roman

Daisy Roman, 78, of Reading, PA, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 in her residence. 

She was the widow of Miguel Roman Sr. who passed away June 6, 2017. 

Born September 25, 1947, in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Rios and Lucresia Arce-Rios.

During her working years she was employed at sweet street as a food packer. When Daisy wasn’t working she enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. What brought her the most joy was to have her family together. 

Surviving are nine children:Jeanette (Roman) Ruiz of Reading; Miguel Roman Jr. of Reading; Ana (Roman) Rivera, wife of Egberto of Reading; Daisy (Roman) LeBron, wife of Francisco of Macungie; Rosemarie (Roman) Sysenh, wife of Mike of Reading; Daniel Roman, husband of Eliza (Cruz) of Reading; David Roman of Reading; Jamilex Roman of Reading; and Laura Perez of Fleetwood. 

Daisy is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and eleven siblings. 

She was predeceased in death by three children: Evelyn (Roman) Ortiz; Mildren Roman; Mark Roman; and two siblings. 

A viewing will be held Thursday December 18, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Christian Center. A service will take place after the viewing at 11 a.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
