David Allen Kauffman, 64, of Laureldale, passed away unexpectedly on December 2nd, 2024.
He was the loving partner of Cynthia (Carr) Isett, with whom he shared over 20 years of a happy relationship with.
Born March 9, 1960 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Allen D. Kauffman and Diane S. (Guldin) Kauffman. David attended Muhlenberg High School where he attained his GED and later joined the National Guard.
He was employed as a custodian with the Reading School District where he worked for a majority of his working career.
David loved listening to all genres of music and burning CD’s to give to family members and friends. He was a very hard worker and put all his effort into everything he did. David was also a Philadelphia sports fan but most importantly loved his Eagle’s. He will be sadly missed by his beloved cat's Misty and Snow.
He is survived by his brother, Charles A. Kauffman, husband of Diane (Madera) of Temple.
Also surviving are three nephews: Michael Kauffman of Temple; Bradley Kauffman, husband of Amber of Reading; and Zachery Kauffman, husband of Ellen of Reading.
As well as one step-daughter, April (Isett) Maisonet of Mohnton.
David also had two great-nephews and two great-nieces: Blake; Lincoln; Adalyn; and Remi.
Services will be open to family and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 6, from 10-11 am at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605.
A funeral service will follow at 11 am taking place at the Stitzel Family Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Alsace Cemetery, 2155 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.
