Dean Paul Strause

Dean Paul Strause, 73, of Alsace Township, died June 19, 2025 at Tower Health - Reading Hospital.

Born February 26, 1952, in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul Reuben and Melva Luella (Young) Strause.

He was a 1970 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and earned a bachelor's degree in drafting.

Dean was employed in construction work for his entire career. 

As a musician, Dean's hobbies were playing and listening to music; he also enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving is his former wife, and friend, Diane L. Strause of Mohnton; and his friend, Terry Yerger of Reading, with whom he spent 26 years.

Dean was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy S. Strause who died in 1999.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.
