Dennis Wagenhurst Obituary

Dennis Neil Wagenhurst, 86, formerly of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away October 6, 2023 at Willow Brook Rehabilitation.

Born March 31, 1937 In Rockland Township, he was the son of Mahlon C. and Blanche D. (Scheidt) Wagenhurst.

Dennis worked as a truck driver for most of his life.

He is survived by his siblings: David Wagenhurst, husband of Kathryn of Ruscombmanor Twp; Joy Ann, widow of Earl Dickel of New Providence, Lancaster County;  Susan J., wife of Ricky Moore of Fleetwood and Kerry G. Wagenhurst of St. Lawrence. Also surviving are several Nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Donna Weinman, husband Chris Weinman of Ruscombmanor Twp and a brother Mahlon C. Wagenhurst, Jr.

The family will receive friends and family, for a viewing, at Stitzel Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley on Saturday, October 14th from 10:30- 11:30am.

A funeral service will be at 11:30 am at the funeral home.   Interment will follow at Pricetown Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Humane Society of Berks County:  1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
