Diana Lynne Schlegel

Diana Lynne (Brown) Schlegel, 79, of Laureldale, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Reading Hospital surrounded by her family. 

She was the loving wife of Philip A. Schlegel whom she married October 3, 1969. 

Born on December 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Paul Brown, and Anna Mae (Englebach) Brown. 

Diana was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School. After graduating she went on to hold numerous jobs in her working career. 

She had great artistic ability. In her free time Diana could be found painting and crafting. She had a great imagination, creating one of a kind gifts she shared with everyone. When she wasn’t working on art she would be outside in her garden or watching her birds. Her greatest love however, was spending time with her grandchildren. They spent countless hours together telling stories, working on art projects, shopping at Goodwill and taking walks while looking for “treasures”.

Diana is survived by her two daughters, Amy L. Sharp, wife of Daniel Sharp of Muhlenberg Township, and Jill M. Wineberg, wife of Michael Wineberg of Havertown. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Gabriel Sharp; Julian Sharp; Samuel Sharp; Mallory Wineberg; Molly Wineberg; and Brock Wineberg. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews, 

Diana has two surviving sisters, Cheryl Morris, and Sandra Petersen. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mae Corbett and Sylvia Snyder. 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
